1.  Contact Information
2.  Coaching Interest
3.  Coaching Background

PLEASE NOTE:  RCYBA will be used the Trusted Coaches program for our coaches background checks this season.  IF you have gone through the Trusted Coaches program with RCYBA, within 3 years, you will NOT need to go through the program again, this year.  The Trusted Coaches program will require coaches to complete up to two (2) training program, this includes their concussion training, before they will complete a national background check.  Coaches will not be able to start practice and work with their team until all the Trusted Coaches steps are completed and the background check is done and passed.

RCYBA is also a member of  MYBA (Minnesota Youth Basketball Alliance).  There are specific requirements for TRAVEL coaches as part of this membership.  As a Coach (head and assistant) you will be required to (BEFORE you can start coaching with your travel team):

• Attend and RCYBA Coaches Meeting
• Nationwide Criminal Background Checks
• Concussion Certification
• Child Safety Training

RCYBA will be in touch with Coaches on the specific trainings that are needed for the league or travel programs.

If you are assigned a team to coach you will be send an email link for the Trusted Coaches training and background check system.
